Reiki pronounced Ray-Key, is a natural, gentle, yet powerful ancient healing modality for deep healing, self-discovery and transformation.
The literal translation of Reiki is universal life-force healing energy and feels like relaxing in the sun’s warm, healing rays.
Reiki comes from an unlimited supply and brings all levels of self, body, mind, and soul back to their original state of balance, vitality and harmony.
How Does Reiki Work?
During a Reiki treatment, the Reiki practitioner hovers or places their hands over specific energetic points on the body to transfer the guided healing energy.
As this happens, Reiki begins creating a healthier and stronger flow of energy within and around the energetic points or (chakras) of the body.
This allows energetic blockages and other lower vibrational energy, which makes us feel unwell, to be released and healed. The result is greater wellbeing of the physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual layers of self.
During a Reiki treatment, these aspects of you become stronger, brighter and more unified. Greater vitality and strength arise as inner peace, clarity and balance are restored.
This is all a gift of pure healing love so you can be and feel your best while radiating your highest truth out into the world.
Preparing for a Reiki Session
During a Reiki session, you will lay down comfortably, fully clothed on a massage table. Light clothing is recommended, shoes are removed during the treatment itself and a blanket is always offered to you for extra comfort. It is also recommended to allow an hour for digestion before a session as you will be laying down.
What to Expect
Reiki energy feels very relaxing, uplifting, and peaceful and because of that peace, you are able to really let go and heal on a deeper level.
The result is feeling more clear-minded, healthier and grounded even past the treatment itself. Miracles and big shifts can happen in as little as one treatment depending on what is best for you at that time.
Reiki is so relaxing in fact, that many people doze off during a session and feel as though they are floating on a cloud of love. It is also common to experience beautiful spiritual visualizations and to gain new profound insights.
Remote Reiki - Sending Reiki Over Distance
Since Reiki energy comes from a higher dimension and is not confined to the limits of our Earthly model of time and space it can be sent to anyone or anything no matter the location.
If you are too far to make an in person visit for a Reiki treatment, a distance Reiki treatment or remote Reiki is recommended.
Distance Reiki treatments are just as effective as in person sessions but take less time as the energy is transferred at a faster rate. Time will be set aside prior to the treatment to discuss healing intentions and to discuss your experience afterwards.
Usui Reiki and Karuna Holy Fire® III Reiki
I am certified to practice and teach both Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki and Karuna Holy Fire® III Reiki. Karuna Holy Fire® III Reiki is different from traditional Usui Reiki in that it is of a higher vibration.
They are both equally powerful forms of energy healing but Karuna Holy Fire® III Reiki was developed more recently, meaning it is adapted for our current needs today along with our evolved chakra system.

Karuna Reiki® can heal past life traumas, denser energetic blockages and stubborn negative mental patterning with a bit more ease than traditional Usui Reiki. Guides, Angles, Higher Light Beings and Ascended Masters are also more closely linked in aiding healing and recovery.
Holy Fire® III energy accompanies Reiki energy; empowering Reiki to go even deeper, and purify the self further. Positive effects from a Karuna Holy Fire® III treatment can last longer, and spontaneous healing can occur later down the line thanks to the powerful Holy Fire® III energy which will continue to purify and assist you.
I will be guided to use the healing methods that are best for you at any given time. I also frequently combine healing methods for the best results, that are most aligned to you and your current needs.
